ECOVACS has announced three new home cleaning robots aimed at people who want simple, reliable cleaning without a lot of extra work. The main products are the DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI robotic vacuum and mop for floors and the WINBOT W3 OMNI robotic window cleaner for glass. There is also a smaller model, the WINBOT MINI 2, for tight or hard to reach windows. The company says these products focus on fixing common problems users have with robotic cleaners, such as poor edge cleaning, tangled hair, unfinished cleaning cycles, and the need for frequent manual pad washing.
The DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI is a vacuum and mop that brings features from ECOVACS’ higher end X Series into a lower price range. A key part of this model is its OZMO ROLLER 3.0 Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology. Instead of two small spinning pads or a vibrating plate, this system uses a 27 centimeter microfiber roller, which ECOVACS says is the largest in its class. The roller keeps steady pressure on the floor to lift dirt instead of pushing it around. Because of its length, it covers more floor with each pass. The microfiber material is designed to pick up fine dust and grime, and a built in self washing system rinses the roller during cleaning. This is meant to help avoid streaks and keep dirty water from spreading from one room to another, which can be useful in busy spaces like kitchens and entryways.
The T90 PRO OMNI also brings a focus on battery management and fewer interruptions. It uses PowerBoost Charging, a fast charging system borrowed from ECOVACS’ premium models. During normal cleaning, the robot periodically returns to the station to wash its mop. PowerBoost Charging uses these short stops to quickly top up the battery. The idea is to help the robot finish cleaning the entire home in one cycle, which addresses a common problem where robots run out of power and leave areas unfinished. At the same time, the OMNI Station takes care of washing and drying the mop and handling clean and dirty water, so users have less regular upkeep.
Several features on the T90 PRO OMNI target everyday cleaning issues. TruEdge Extreme Edge Cleaning is designed to improve how well the robot cleans along baseboards and in corners, areas that many robots struggle with. An airflow directed anti tangle main brush is meant to pull hair into the suction path, which can help reduce hair wrapping on the brush and cut down on manual cleaning. TruePass adaptive four wheel drive helps the robot move over thresholds and uneven floors, while AIVI intelligent navigation helps it detect obstacles and plan routes more accurately. ECOVACS positions the T90 PRO OMNI as a full, ready to use floor cleaning system that aims to run quietly in the background and handle daily dirt and pet hair without much extra effort from the user.
For windows and other glass, ECOVACS has introduced the WINBOT W3 OMNI, which focuses on cutting down manual work during and after cleaning. The main new feature is the Vortex Wash System, which is an automatic pad washing function built into its station. This station stores and charges the WINBOT and also washes the wiping pad, so users do not need to remove and rinse the pad by hand after each use. The W3 OMNI also includes TruEdge technology for closer cleaning around window frames, along with intelligent navigation that can adjust to tall windows, mirrors, sunrooms, and large glass panels. Safety systems are built in to help keep the robot attached securely to the glass and stable while moving.
Alongside the W3 OMNI, ECOVACS has launched the WINBOT MINI 2, which it describes as the thinnest robotic window cleaner available. The slim profile allows it to get into tight spaces, narrow window sections, and more complex frame designs, which can be useful for apartments and modern homes with varied glass layouts. The MINI 2 also focuses on strong edge cleaning within its smaller shape. All three products are available through ECOVACS’ own website and Amazon.
