Reolink has introduced a new camera in their ColorX line, the E1 Outdoor CX, which offers WiFi capabilities and ColorX night vision with Pan & Tilt functionality.
The E1 Outdoor CX is equipped with ColorX True Full-Color Night Vision, featuring an F1.0 Super Aperture 1/1.8″ CMOS Sensor, allowing it to capture nighttime footage with clarity and color without the need for spotlights. Demo’s of this are really impressive.
This camera includes a new Bluetooth connection that simplifies setup and provides stable configuration compared to traditional QR code scanning methods. It supports 355° pan and 50° tilt movements, along with auto-tracking and up to 64 preset points. The E1 Outdoor CX operates on 2.4/5 GHz Dual-Band Wi-Fi.
Users can store videos locally on a microSD card or opt for 24/7 uninterrupted recording with Reolink PoE/Wi-Fi NVR. We like devices that support NVR, since it allows you to keep your video footage all local, and not hosted on some vendor’s cloud.
The camera offers 2K 4MP resolution and up to a 25fps frame rate. Additionally, it is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker and does not require any subscription. The device is capable of automatically following people, vehicles, and animals in both horizontal and vertical directions.
