Blink is rolling out five new security cameras, including its first 4K model and a trail camera that can reach up to 7,000 feet. All five went up for preorder in the U.S. on October 21, 2026, and they range from a long-range trail cam for remote properties to compact indoor/outdoor cameras. The lineup includes the Blink Frontier XR+, Blink Outdoor 2K XR+, Blink Mini 4K+, Blink Spotlight Cam 2K+, and Blink Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+, each filling a different role in home and property monitoring.

Frontier XR+: Trail cam with up to 7,000-foot range

The Blink Frontier XR+ is built as a long-range trail camera for expansive properties and remote locations. Blink calls it its farthest-reaching camera yet, and it is designed to be used with the new Sync Module XR+ hub. The Frontier XR+ is sold as a 1-camera system that includes the Sync Module XR+.

With a clear line of sight and no obstructions between the outdoor-mounted sync module and the camera, the Frontier XR+ can reach up to 7,000 feet. That range is intended for open-air setups where the module and camera can “see” each other without trees, walls, or other barriers. Blink pitches it as a way to bring security coverage to places traditional cameras cannot easily reach.

Outdoor 2K XR+: Extended-range security for yards and outbuildings

The Blink Outdoor 2K XR+ targets customers who want extended-range video coverage in 2K, but do not need the extreme reach of the Frontier XR+. It also uses the Sync Module XR+, which helps it stay connected beyond the distance of typical Wi-Fi cameras. It records 2K video, though resolution tops out at 1080p at its maximum range settings.

Range on the Outdoor 2K XR+ depends heavily on the environment. With some trees or structures in between the sync module and the camera, Blink says it can reach up to 800 feet. With a clear line of sight, that range can extend up to 2,700 feet. As the camera connects at longer ranges, resolution is reduced, and real-world performance depends on obstructions and interference. The camera has a 115-degree field of view, which is geared toward watching driveways, side yards, or detached buildings.

Mini 4K+: Blink’s first 4K camera for indoors and outdoors

The Blink Mini 4K+ is the company’s first 4K security camera and is a wired camera rather than a battery-powered one. It is built in a compact form factor and is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The camera has a 115-degree horizontal field of view and an IP65 rating for outdoor use.

The Mini 4K+ supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6, for streaming on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It includes two-way audio so you can hear and speak through the camera. For smarter alerts, person and vehicle detection are available, but they require a compatible Blink subscription plan.

Blink is also adding an AI feature called Video Descriptions to the Mini 4K+. Video Descriptions are AI-generated summaries of camera activity, available to subscribers on eligible AI plans in the U.S., Canada, and the UK. These summaries are not available in Illinois due to state legislation and are limited to mobile devices with select primary languages.

Beyond the U.S., the Mini 4K+ is also on preorder in Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, and New Zealand.

Spotlight Cam 2K+: First battery-powered spotlight from Blink

The Blink Spotlight Cam 2K+ is Blink’s first battery-powered spotlight camera. It is designed as a completely wire-free device, which makes it flexible for mounting in places that are hard to reach with power cables. The camera records in 2K and includes a built-in spotlight that activates when it detects motion.

Blink says the light works as a visual deterrent and produces clearer nighttime footage. Because it needs no wired power connection, it can go wherever you want more visibility, such as above a garage, along a side yard, or near a back gate. Like the other new models, the Spotlight Cam 2K+ is available for preorder in the U.S., and it is planned for Canada, where customers can sign up for an email alert about its arrival.

Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+: Flexible indoor/outdoor camera with wide coverage

The Blink Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ is Blink’s first pan-tilt camera for both indoor and outdoor use. It can pan up to 350 degrees and tilt up to 115 degrees, giving it broad coverage from a single mounting point. The camera records in 2K and includes night vision and two-way audio for speaking and listening through the device.

For smarter motion alerts, the Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ supports person and vehicle detection, which require a compatible Blink subscription plan. While the camera is built for both indoor and outdoor monitoring, outdoor use requires the Blink Camera Outdoor Adapter, which is sold separately.

Like the Mini 4K+, the Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ is also on preorder in the same 10 countries outside the U.S. Blink says it is built to follow the action rather than capture a fixed frame, so you can watch a person walk from the driveway to the side of the house or a pet cross the yard.

Availability

All five cameras are on preorder in the U.S. now, and the announcement does not give a ship date. The Mini 4K+ and Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ are also on preorder in 10 more countries, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. The Frontier XR+, Outdoor 2K XR+, and Spotlight Cam 2K+ are coming to Canada later, where shoppers can sign up for an email alert.
