Samsung Electronics America has expanded its 2024 television lineup with the new 98″ Class Crystal UHD TV model. Samsung’s Senior Vice President of Home Entertainment, James Fishler, commented on the growing consumer demand for larger TV screens, noting the significant increase in sales for 98” TVs within the industry. Fishler emphasized that Samsung’s large screens offer superior picture quality, advanced connectivity, and additional features such as Gaming Hub and Samsung TV Plus.

The 98” Class Crystal UHD (DU9000) features the Supersize Picture Enhancer, which aims to improve sharpness and reduce noise, ensuring clarity even at larger screen sizes. The television includes 4K upscaling, PurColor, and HDR to convert content to 4K quality and display a broader spectrum of colors. For gamers, it offers a smoother experience with Motion Xcelerator and a 120Hz refresh rate, plus in-game features like AI Auto Game Mode and Virtual Aim Point.

Samsung, recognized as the global #1 TV brand for 18 years, provides a range of connected screens, including the 98” Class Crystal UHD (DU9000). Other models in Samsung’s ultra-large TV selection are the Samsung Neo QLED 8K (QN990C) with 8K AI upscaling and Neo Quantum HDR 8K Pro, the Samsung Neo QLED 4K (QN90D) with Mini LED technology and Neo Quantum HDR+, and the Samsung QLED 4K (Q80C) with enhanced contrast and a SuperSlim Design.

All models in the 98” lineup come with the Supersize Picture Enhancer for optimal viewing experiences. The TVs are suitable for medium-to-large spaces, requiring a viewing distance of six to 12 feet. The latest Samsung TVs feature the 2024 Tizen OS for personalized user profiles and recommendations. Samsung also highlights the added benefits exclusive to their brand, such as AI upscaling, expansive content options, home hub functionality, eco-friendly packaging, product accessibility, and Samsung Knox for data protection.
