TCL announced its new X11L Series SQD-Mini LED TV at CES 2026. This television is the latest release from TCL and features the company’s SQD-Mini LED display technology. The launch took place in Las Vegas, where TCL shared details about the TV’s picture quality, color accuracy, and new hardware.

The X11L Series uses SQD-Mini LED technology, which stands for “Super Quantum Dot Mini LED.” This technology combines quantum dots with mini LED backlighting. The Mini LEDs allow for better control of lighting across the display, which means that dark scenes appear darker, and bright scenes are more vivid. The quantum dots help the television display a wide range of colors that are more consistent and accurate when compared to older models or traditional LED TVs.

TCL stated that the X11L Series can reach higher levels of brightness and contrast than previous models. This is possible because the TV can use thousands of tiny LEDs to control light in very small sections of the screen. This leads to less light bleeding into dark areas and helps with sharpness and detail in challenging scenes, such as nighttime shots or high-contrast images. TCL also focused on improving color accuracy with this release. The company says that the X11L Series covers a large portion of the color spectrum used in movies and television, which means it can show more shades of color as they were intended by content creators.

The TV also comes with other features, such as a high refresh rate for smoother motion and lower input lag, which can be helpful for gaming. TCL did not announce every detail about the included ports and smart TV features, but the press release says that the X11L Series will support the latest standards for streaming and device connections. TCL plans to release more information about screen sizes and prices at a later date.

TCL is one of the largest TV brands in the world and has focused on Mini LED technology over the past few years. This release shows the company’s continued focus on picture quality and new display technology. The X11L Series is expected to be available in stores later in 2026, with more details to come as the launch date gets closer.
