LG Electronics has announced the return of LG Streaming Week, a campaign that gives LG Smart TV owners in 42 countries access to a variety of free and discounted streaming content. This event is set to run from May 19 through June 30, 2025. Over 70 content partners are taking part, making different subscriptions and offers available to users across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Eligible devices include LG TVs above UHD that were released after 2019 and run webOS 4.5 or higher. The offer also covers the LG StanbyME and StanbyME Go, plus UHD and WQHD Smart Monitors. Users can find the LG Streaming Week app on their device’s Home Screen, Content Store, or in the Apps section. The campaign aims to bring a wider range of content and a stronger focus on local programming, addressing the interests and preferences of viewers in each region.

A few major streaming platforms are taking part in this campaign. Apple TV+ is giving three months of access to its content for just $2.99 per month, which includes shows, movies, and programs for kids and families. Deutsche Grammophone’s Stage+ service is offering three months of free access to classical music performances and documentaries. Mubi is offering three months of free access to its library of films, including exclusive releases. Blacknut Cloud Gaming is letting users play any of its 500+ games for 30 minutes for free, and new subscribers can get their first month for one euro. The Baby Shark World for Kids app, made by The Pinkfong Company, is giving LG Smart TV owners one month of free access to songs and stories for children. Stingray is also offering a free month of karaoke content.

LG is also working with local content providers for this campaign, offering special deals that are tailored to each region. For example, in Greece, ANT1+ is giving users three months of free access to more than 7,000 titles, including local drama series. These local promotions are designed to bring more content in the languages and styles that viewers prefer.

During LG Streaming Week, the company is also offering special deals on its TVs. This is part of a move to bring more users onto the webOS Smart TV platform, which now has millions of users and is supported by thousands of partners around the world. The focus is on making it easy for people to find and enjoy a wide variety of content from their own homes.
