Ecovacs has released two new robotic vacuum models, the DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and the T80 OMNI. Both models use the company’s OZMO Roller Mop system, which can clean floors without spreading dirty water. The new models are meant to give users more options for hands-free cleaning and are now available for purchase.
The OZMO Roller Mop system is different from regular mops because it uses 16 times more pressure than a standard mop pad and washes itself as it cleans. The robot has separate tanks for clean and dirty water, so it only uses fresh water on your floors and keeps the dirty water out of the way. This system was first seen in the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI, but is now included in both the X9 PRO OMNI and T80 OMNI. The goal is to help keep homes cleaner by removing more grime and bacteria.
The DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI has several features that set it apart from older vacuum robots. Along with the OZMO Roller Mop, it uses BLAST suction technology, which means it has a stronger vacuum with better airflow. Its motor is 100W and has a wider air intake, so it can handle both small dust and bigger messes without losing power. The vacuum also uses a SuperBoost battery that is designed to last longer and handle more cleaning without overheating. This model includes a ZeroTangle 3.0 system, which helps prevent hair from wrapping around the brush, and TruEdge 2.0 sensors that help the robot clean along walls and in corners. The X9 PRO OMNI can also lift its mop and brushes when it moves over carpets or wet areas, to help avoid streaks or cross-contamination. It returns to its OMNI Station to wash and dry the mop with hot air, which helps keep things sanitary.
The T80 OMNI is designed to bring some of these features to a lower price range. It is the first mid-range DEEBOT to include the OZMO Roller Mop, so users can still get strong mopping pressure and self-washing. The T80 has the ZeroTangle 3.0 system, which means less maintenance and fewer problems with hair or debris. It also features AI Instant Re-Mop, which allows the robot to find sticky messes and clean them again without user input. The T80 uses the same OMNI Station as the X9 PRO OMNI for hands-free maintenance.
Both new models are meant to make floor cleaning easier and more hygienic for busy households. With features like self-washing mops, strong suction, and tangle-free brushes, Ecovacs is focusing on reducing the amount of work users have to do to keep their homes clean. The company continues to add features that help its robotic vacuums clean more thoroughly, especially for homes with pets or children.
