Govee has announced two new smart lighting products, the Floor Lamp 3 and Lantern Floor Lamp, both featuring the company’s LuminBlend+ Technology for more accurate and vivid colors. The launch targets users who want smarter ambient lighting for entertainment and home décor, with improved color performance aimed at gamers, movie watchers, and smart home enthusiasts.

Govee is using its self-developed LuminBlend+ color management technology in the Floor Lamp 3 and Lantern Floor Lamp to push smart floor lamp color accuracy much further than typical RGB lights. LuminBlend+ lets the Floor Lamp 3 render pastel and natural tones, like warm sunsets and cool ocean blues, with zero visible color banding, even at just 1% brightness. Paired with its 1,000K–10,000K tunable white range and spot-free, ultra-dense LED array of 144 RGB plus 144 warm-cool white LEDs, the lamp can smoothly match everything from candlelight-style amber to crisp midday-style white without harsh transitions. On the Lantern Floor Lamp, LuminBlend+ powers the new Halo Gradient Lighting effect, which creates a soft, ring-shaped gradient that mimics natural light shifts. Instead of a single flat color, you get a smooth warm-to-cool transition around the lantern body, like a sunset or soft floral glow spread across the room. Together, these LuminBlend+ upgrades move Govee’s floor lamps closer to natural, studio-grade color reproduction than standard smart lamps that rely on basic RGB color mixing.

The single most important takeaway is that Govee’s new Floor Lamp 3 and Lantern Floor Lamp use LuminBlend+ to deliver much more accurate, natural-looking colors than typical RGB smart floor lamps. If you care about how your games, movies, or décor actually look in the room, pay close attention to color accuracy, tunable white range, and visible banding when shopping for smart lighting. Look for features like wide 1,000K–10,000K color temperature support, dense LED arrays, and smooth gradients so your space feels more like natural light and less like a washed-out glow stick.
