Samsung TV Plus and V10 Entertainment are working together to launch a new streaming channel that will focus on America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV) with Alfonso Ribeiro as the host. This new channel is set to arrive later in the year and will be available only on Samsung TV Plus in the United States. The channel will carry over 200 episodes from the past ten seasons of AFV that feature Ribeiro as the host. These episodes have not been available in this format before, and this is the first time AFV will have its own dedicated FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channel.

AFV is known for its family-friendly humor and clips from viewers across the country. The show has a long history, airing on ABC since 1989, and is now moving into its 36th season. Alfonso Ribeiro became the host in 2015 and has become closely connected with the show’s current style. The new channel will let fans watch many of his episodes at any time, which may appeal to both long-time viewers and younger audiences who have not seen the show before.

The partnership means that, starting in 2026, Samsung TV Plus will also stream new episodes from the current season as they air on ABC. AFV keeps its regular Sunday night spot on network television, but people who use Samsung TV Plus will have another way to watch. This could bring in more viewers who prefer streaming over traditional TV. The deal reflects how people are changing the way they watch shows, with more interest in on-demand and free streaming options.

V10 Entertainment, the company working with Samsung on this project, is a private equity-backed media group that focuses on bringing popular brands to wider audiences. Their President, Carter Skeath, said the goal is to keep AFV’s comedy going strong with a new generation of fans, while also respecting the show’s history. Samsung TV Plus leaders also pointed out that AFV’s style of comedy and wide appeal makes it a good fit for an ad-supported streaming service.

America’s Funniest Home Videos has stayed popular for decades by featuring home videos that show funny moments from everyday life. The decision to create a dedicated streaming channel is a sign that the show’s producers and partners believe it can keep drawing viewers even as TV habits change. The new AFV with Alfonso Ribeiro channel on Samsung TV Plus will give people another way to enjoy the show’s mix of humor and family content. The launch later this year will mark a first for both the show and Samsung TV Plus, as AFV enters a new phase in its long run.
