Samsung Electronics America has released its newest Smart Monitor lineup, which includes the flagship Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF), as well as updated versions of the Smart Monitor M8 (M80F) and M7 (M70F). These new monitors are now available for purchase through Samsung’s official website. The latest models introduce new display technology and artificial intelligence (AI) features, aiming to make them useful for both work and entertainment.
The Smart Monitor M9 stands out as the first in the series to include QD-OLED technology. This 32-inch 4K panel is designed to deliver deep contrast and rich color, supporting tasks like productivity, streaming, and gaming. The M9 includes Samsung OLED Safeguard+, which uses a special cooling system to help protect the screen from burn-in over time. There is also a Glare-Free display, which helps reduce reflections and keeps the screen comfortable to view, even in well-lit rooms.
AI features are a major part of the new M9. The monitor uses AI Picture Optimizer and 4K AI Upscaling Pro to improve picture quality, along with Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro to adjust sound in real time based on the content and environment. The M9 can be used as a smart entertainment hub, with built-in support for popular streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and Samsung Gaming Hub. With the Gaming Hub, users can play games through the cloud without needing a separate console or computer. The M9 also supports a 165Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, which helps produce smooth visuals for gaming and other fast-moving content.
The design of the M9 features a slim metal body. The model has also received Pantone Validated certification, which means it can display over 2,100 colors and more than 110 SkinTone shades from Pantone’s library. This can be useful for those who need accurate color reproduction for work or creative projects.
The updated Smart Monitor M8 and M7 models are designed for users who want many of the same smart features as the M9, but with different display panels. Both models offer 32-inch 4K UHD screens and use Samsung’s VA panel technology for clear detail and strong contrast. These monitors include AI tools like Click to Search, which is meant to make it easier to find and interact with content. Both models run on Tizen OS Home, which helps recommend content and makes it simple to access different services.
All three monitors in the lineup are built for flexible use. They work with SmartThings for connected home features, allow Multi Control between Samsung devices, and support Multi View for viewing content side by side. Users can also access Microsoft 365 directly from the monitors, so they can create and edit documents without needing a separate PC. This makes the displays useful for both home and office settings.
Samsung is offering up to seven years of One UI Tizen upgrades for these new Smart Monitors, which is meant to help the products stay up to date with the latest software and features. The M9, M8, and M7 are all available in 32-inch screen sizes and can be found at Samsung’s online store. This latest lineup adds features for work, gaming, and streaming, and is designed to work with other Samsung devices and services.
