LG Electronics is set to present its new AI-powered home appliances at IFA 2025 in Berlin, Germany. The company is focusing on how its products work together through artificial intelligence to make daily living more convenient and personal, while also helping save energy. At the event, LG will have a booth where visitors can see and try out the LG AI Home, which uses the company’s newest AI technologies. This booth will also have a special area for business-to-business meetings, where LG will talk about the advantages of its latest appliances and parts.

The main area at the booth, called the Hero Zone, will show the LG AI Appliances Orchestra. Here, different appliances are set up like the sections of a symphony, all connected and controlled by LG ThinQ ON, which acts as the main hub. This display is designed to show how LG’s AI Home lets users control and connect their appliances in a way that feels natural and simple. Another area, called the Fit&Max Zone, is designed to look like a European home. Here, visitors can see how LG’s products have been made with local styles and needs in mind. There is also the AI Core Tech Zone, where visitors can learn about the AI DD motor and other parts that have been improved with artificial intelligence for better performance. The AI Home Solution Zone shows everyday situations where LG’s AI connects appliances, smart home devices, and third-party services to help save time and make daily tasks easier.

LG is introducing a range of new appliances at the event, all designed for European homes. These products are based on research into what European consumers want and need. Some of the new features in LG’s refrigerators include AI-powered compressor operation and better insulation, which help keep food fresh and cut down on energy use. A new feature called Zero Clearance Hinge lets the fridge doors open fully even if the fridge is right next to a wall, which is useful in smaller kitchens. LG’s new washing machines and dryers use artificial intelligence to take better care of different fabrics and come with bigger displays and easier controls. The company’s new vacuum cleaners include a robot vacuum with a steam mop, a built-in robot vacuum station that fits under a kitchen sink, a stick vacuum, and a wet-dry stick vacuum. Each is designed to be easy to use and fit well into a modern home.

To make its products more accessible, LG is also showing the LG Comfort Kit at the event. This is a set of accessories meant to make it easier for people of different ages or abilities to use home appliances. The company’s AI Home Solution Zone will show how LG ThinQ AI and ThinQ ON work together to make tasks easier. For example, ThinQ AI can recommend recipes, preheat ovens, recognize different users by voice, and adjust lighting, temperature, or music to match a person’s preferences. LG is also showing ThinQ UP, which updates appliances with new software features, and ThinQ Care, which gives users alerts and maintenance tips to help their appliances last longer.

LG is also showing how its AI technology can work outside the home with a system called Spielraum. This is an AI solution for vehicles that connects with LG AI Home, so people can have the same connected experience in both their car and their house. According to Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Home Appliance Solution Company, the company wants to offer products that fit into European homes and lives, giving users more ways to personalize their experience and save energy. The company’s focus is on making home life easier and more comfortable by using artificial intelligence in practical ways.
