Level has introduced Level Lock Pro, a new smart lock designed to bring more features and stronger performance while keeping a clean look. The product keeps all the technology inside the lock, which keeps the door looking like it has a regular deadbolt. The company says Level Lock Pro is built for people who want a simple design and advanced features without making their entryway look cluttered.
This lock comes with new hardware that makes it respond faster and helps the batteries last longer. One of the main updates is a sensor that can tell when the door is open or closed, which does not use any visible magnets or extra pieces on the door frame. This should make it easier for people to know if their door is left open, all without extra parts showing on the outside.
Level Lock Pro works with several smart home systems because it has Matter built in. Matter is a new way for smart devices to work together, and it lets this lock connect with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. With these connections, people can check their lock from anywhere, set up routines, or have the lock work with other smart devices in the home. For example, people can have the door lock when they leave or unlock when their phone gets close to the house.
The lock also has features that people expect from a modern smart lock. It can lock itself after a set amount of time, keep a record of who uses it, and let owners share access with guests. Owners can use a regular key, the Level Home app, Apple home key, or NFC fobs to get in. The lock also uses Bluetooth, so it will work even if the internet or power is out. This means people do not have to worry about being locked out if their Wi-Fi goes down.
In terms of design, Level Lock Pro keeps the finish of the key cylinder, bolt plate, and strike plate matched to each other. All the technology is hidden inside the lock, which keeps the outside of the door looking simple. Security is also a focus, as the lock has been certified AAA by BHMA, which is the top level for security, durability, and finish.
Level Lock Pro is now available in Matte Black and Satin Nickel on the company’s website. The lock will also be sold at Apple stores and other retailers soon. Level also sells other smart lock products, all of which are made to keep technology out of sight while offering smart features.
