ASUS Announces New Wi-fi 7 Network Devices

ASUS has introduced three new WiFi 7 devices at Gamescom 2024: the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000, ASUS RT-BE86U, and ROG USB-BE92. These products aim to improve the online and cloud gaming experience by offering advanced network performance and low latency.

The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 is a tri-band WiFi 7 router that supports speeds of up to 19 Gbps. It includes two 10G and four 2.5G Ethernet ports, offering wired capacity of up to 31 Gbps. It features Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM technology to enhance network capacity and throughput. The device supports various WAN options, including AI WAN detection and 4G LTE/5G mobile tethering. The router includes Guest Network Pro for managing multiple SSIDs and provides Triple-Level Game Acceleration for prioritizing game data packets. It also offers AiProtection Pro for network security.

The ASUS RT-BE86U is a dual-band WiFi 7 router with speeds up to 6800 Mbps. It includes a 10G WAN port and four 2.5G LAN ports, supporting wired speeds up to 20 Gbps. The router has a quad-core 2.6 GHz CPU and offers features like Multi-link Operation and 4096-QAM. It includes Guest Network Pro, AiProtection Pro, and VPN support for security. The router also supports AI WAN detection and 4G LTE/5G mobile tethering, providing a robust backhaul connection for an extendable network.

The ROG USB-BE92 is a tri-band USB WiFi 7 adapter that supports speeds up to 6500 Mbps. It is compatible with USB Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 Type-C connections and supports standard WiFi networks. The adapter features a 6 GHz band for reduced interference and WPA3 for enhanced security. It is designed to be plug-and-play for easy integration with Windows 10/11 systems.
