Amazon has announced that Alexa+, its advanced voice assistant, will soon be available on more devices and in more settings starting in 2026. The company shared these updates at CES, where it described new partnerships and features that aim to make Alexa+ more present in daily life. The expansion moves Alexa+ beyond Amazon-made devices, allowing users to access its features on products from other well-known brands.

Samsung is the first third-party company to include Alexa+ in its smart TVs. Owners of select Samsung TV models from 2021 to 2025 will be able to use Alexa+ directly through their televisions. With voice commands, users can find shows and movies, adjust smart home devices, play music, and get information quickly. For example, asking Alexa+ what is new to watch or to change the room temperature will work naturally, without the need for set phrases. This step marks a change in how people can interact with their TVs and smart home gadgets.

Amazon is also working with other companies to bring Alexa+ into different parts of everyday life. Bosch will add Alexa+ to its 800 Series espresso machines, letting users make and customize coffee drinks by speaking to Alexa+. This feature is set to arrive in 2026, and it is designed to make the process of making coffee simpler by using natural conversation rather than standard commands.

In the automotive space, BMW is introducing Alexa+ in its new iX3 electric SUV. The latest version of BMW’s Intelligent Personal Assistant is built on Alexa+, allowing drivers and passengers to use voice commands for a variety of tasks. These include changing car settings, getting information, and controlling navigation. The assistant supports natural language, so users do not have to remember specific phrases. Other location technology companies, such as HERE Technologies and TomTom, are also adding Alexa+ to their mapping tools, making it easier to plan trips and find charging stations for electric vehicles.

Alexa+ is being connected with more service providers as well. Companies like Expedia, Yelp, Angi, and Square are working on ways for customers to book travel, make restaurant reservations, schedule home services, and manage personal wellness using Alexa+. These new agentic features offer more options for users to handle tasks by simply speaking to their devices.

Health and wellness is another area where Alexa+ is growing. The assistant will soon work with products like the Oura ring and Withings watch to help users track sleep, recovery, and other wellness goals. Alexa+ will be able to give morning summaries of sleep and suggest ways to improve daily routines. In the evening, it can remind users to wind down based on their optimal sleep times, adjusting lights, music, and temperature to help them get ready for bed. Early access to some of these features is being previewed at CES, with more integrations planned in the future.

Through these new developments, Amazon is making Alexa+ more available and useful in different parts of daily life, from home entertainment and appliances to cars and personal health devices. The expansion is set to begin in 2026 with more products and services expected to join over time.
